Fungal Spore Forecast

Fungal spore counts will remain high as the continued dry, bright weather and mild nights is ideal for the release of dry weather spores such as Cladosporium and Alternaria. Counts will still drop to moderate, sometimes low, overnight, and strong onshore breezes will reduce spores concentrations in coastal regions, especially along the east coast. Some light showers are forecast nearer the weekend, which will trigger the release of wet weather spores; so concentrations will still remain high.
Tree pollen forecasts from the 17th March to 19th May.
Grass pollen forecasts from the 20th May to 4th August.
Weed pollen forecasts from the 5th to 25th August.
Fungal Spore forecasts from the 25th August to 30th November.
